Reiser Group's Steve Kelley Wins MAME Sales Manager of the Year Award from the Sales and Marketing Council of the Home Builders Association of Northern California
June 27, 2006 -- Alamo, Calif. - Chief Executive Officer Tom Reiser of the Reiser Group, one of California's leading sales and marketing organizations in the home building industry, announced that Sales Director Steve Kelley has won the MAME Sales Manager of the Year Award from the Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) of the Home Builders Association of Northern California for performance in 2005.
Marketing and Merchandising Excellence (MAME) is an annual program hosted and judged by the SMC arm of the regional home builders association. MAME has been called the "Academy Awards" of the home building industry. There were 46 separate entries considered this year, including best graphic designs, brochures, home merchandising, architecture, best community and numerous categories for sales. Nominated along side some of the best sales managers in the industry, Mr. Kelley was honored with the sales manager of the year award for 2005.

In 2005, Steve Kelley managed sales and marketing for seven Bay Area communities and five different builder/clients. For the year, 13 sales counselors managed by Steve sold 344 homes with a total sales volume in excess of $163 million of which $123 million closed escrow. The most noteworthy sales effort in 2005 was at a Hayward community -- Montierra Condominiums -- which led to an above average absorption of 8.3 sales per week since the beginning of the project. The builder/client has been extremely satisfied with the results of Mr. Kelley's sales management of the community.
Mr. Kelley also participates in Reiser Group's new-hire training program and devotes at least a portion of his time each quarter to leading sales training programs at Reiser Group. In 2005, he led two company workshops on various aspects of selling and managing the close of sales contracts. Mr. Kelley recently served with a panel of experts at a seminar on condominium conversions.
Since joining Reiser Group in 2000 as sales director, Steve Kelley has managed the sales and closing of over 600 homes for the company's largest builders. He previously served as sales and marketing director for TRI Development for 19 years. At TRI Development, while overseeing the sales of over 1,800 homes and condominiums, he managed all phases of the development process, including feasibility studies, marketing, design, advertising, finance and customer service. The expertise gained in marketing and selling urban residential communities and condo conversions has contributed to Reiser Group's success in acquiring and servicing multi-unit product and urban builders throughout the region. Steve Kelley earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Santa Clara University.
Mr. Kelley's recognition is the second time in as many years that a Reiser Group sales manager won MAME sales manager of the year. Former sales manager, Bob Yakominich, won the MAME sales manager of the year award in 2005.
