PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Tom directs Reiser Group’s business development efforts and oversees day-to-day activities across the company’s portfolio of new home communities and land transactions. Growing up in a family of real estate developers, it was only natural for Tom to combine his inherent abilities with his professional experience by forming the Reiser Group in 1999.
Tom has held a variety of leadership positions for some of the largest, most notable homebuilders in the region. It is the combination of his impeccable reputation and respect earned over three decades in the industry that sustains Reiser Group’s position as an industry leader. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Real Estate from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a die-hard Buffaloes fan.
REISER GROUP TEAM
Teresa oversees transaction management, business forecasting and finance for Reiser Group. She has enjoyed a successful twenty-plus-year career in banking and telecommunications, rising through the ranks at Commerce Bank of Kansas City managing an operations team in its credit card division. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from University of Missouri-Kansas City.
SALES OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Steve’s background in real estate, hospitality and data-technology spanning more than 30 years make him ideally suited to oversee Sales Operations at Reiser Group. He founded the first of its kind competitive meeting intelligence operation and platform now considered a standard in the global hotel industry. He subsequently managed the organization through two structured acquisitions in a senior leadership capacity.
He has held various leadership roles in organized real estate at the local and state level, including President of the Contra Costa Association of Realtors, Director at the California Association of Realtors and Board Member of the California Real Estate Political Action Committee (CREPAC), one of the largest and most influential state PACs in the country.
Steve is currently serving his first term on the City of Walnut Creek Planning Commission and stays involved with local community-focused organizations, including the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce Civic Affairs Committee & Walnut Creek Community Homelessness Task Force.
Steve and his wife Wendy reside in downtown Walnut Creek and oversee the operation of a small, licensed Bed & Breakfast offered through Airbnb. Their four grown kids have flown the coop.
DIRECTOR OF LAND DEVELOPMENT
David leverages his extensive land planning and entitlement management experience, ensuring Reiser Group clients achieve the highest and best use with their land opportunities. He has held senior executive positions with large community developers including Centex, D.R. Horton, Presley and SEECON. Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton.
Stuart McAfee is a third generation Californian and Realtor who has made Walnut Creek his and his family's home since 2002. He has spent his entire professional career in sales and prides himself on being both professional and persistent in his real estate pursuits.
Stuart joined the Reiser Group in 2005 and has worked both in new home sales and sales management as well a resale where he has worked with both buyers and sellers from Danville to Martinez and from Lafayette to Brentwood.
Stuart has also coached tennis at the high school level and his kids teams in baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, and soccer. In addition to coaching Stuart has held board roles in sports leagues as well as the Contra Costa Association of Realtors.
